Activist Brian Nowak will speak on *for a more perfect union*

Please join us on Sunday, Jan. 22, from 4 to 6 p.m. (+ potluck) to hear from Brian Nowak about the 501c4 he’s working on called “For A More Perfect Union” that is working to bring together people under the banner of immigration reform, economic justice, and protection of civil liberties (among other issues).

Brian is an grassroots organizer who worked for the Bernie Sanders campaign in Western New York during the 2016 election season.  He was elected as a delegate to represent Bernie Sanders at the 2016 Democratic National Convention.  After the Convention, he worked to continue the Sanders organization in WNY under the name “Liberty Union Progressives.”

Brian is Vice Chair for the Buffalo Chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America.  He is also active in other local organizations including the Campaign for NY Health.
